The Barrie CofA Breakfast will be held at the Barrie Holiday Inn, 20 Fairview Road in downtown Barrie from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. A Continental breakfast will be served.

Confined Space O.Reg 628/05 Breakfast - January 18th

Asbestos O. Reg. 278/05 Breakfast - January 25th

Dr. Don Pinchin, Founder and President of Pinchin Environmental Ltd., and a leader in the asbestos field for over 25 years, will be presenting a Breakfast Seminar on the new O. Reg. 278/05 on January 25th, 2007. Please come out to meet him and hear his take on the new Asbestos Regulation 278/05.
We are providing this breakfast to update our clients on several changes found in O. Reg. 278/05, regarding "asbestos on construction projects and in buildings and repair operations". These are quite major and now impact owners very significantly, as the regulation came largely into effect November 1, 2005. This seminar will include a brief update of the new Type 3 Worker and Supervisor Training Requirements from the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU).

One Day Asbestos Refresher/Update Course

Workers or Supervisors on Type 3 projects who have completed a training course prior to the enactment of O. Reg. 278/05 and who have 1,000 hours of Type 3 work experience will not be required to attend a full 2 or 3 day training course to become qualified under the proposed Worker and Supervisor Training Programs approved by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.
Pinchin will be preparing and presenting this shorter Overview and Update for prior attendees of 2 and 3 day Courses combined with in-school testing to meet the Worker and Supervisor Training Requirements. It will include an overview of the new Type worker and supervisor training requirements from the MTCU (Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities).
This 1 Day course will be offered in early 2007 once the training and testing protocols are finalized and announced by the Ministry. Details will be provided by e-mail and on the web site once the course content and dates are set. Please bookmark this page for complete information.
