Default realtors

I just did an inspection on a home (nice home 3 bedrooms 2 baths) the clients were both working so could not attend (I don't really like that) but anyway the realtor let me in .
This guy didn't even know how many bedrooms were in the home , what kind of heating system it had or anything like that and he was the listing agent and he gets his 6% or whatever he agreed upon and we home inspectors gotta fight for our measley 3 to 350 dollars .
It just don't make any sense ... but who am I.
