“If you are a real estate agent, your fiduciary duty is to put the best interests of your client ahead of you at all times,” she says. “The rules are very clear, in no uncertain terms.”
Knapton says the agents should have immediately made both possible conflicts clear – verbally and in writing.

The moral of the story? If in doubt; disclose!
