Great Idea Willy you have been a member for just over one year and Know little of what has gone on in NACHI over the last few years .
Why not put some effort into improving things instead of try to destroy it.
You do not see the NON members making filthy slandering threating posts.
It is Mostly members a large % are on the ESOP .
Why do you not say something about their mean vindictive foul posts.
You attitude does little to improve this industry destroying those who have put much effort and information for all to use is what is needed.

I think that it will take a psychiatrist to explain the obsession that these ex and non-members seem to have with our message board...and their need to "help" us.

If their intentions were honorable and legitimate, they would be using their time and talents by contributing their vast areas of knowledge and expertise to the forums designed to compile it.

If their desires were to assist and guide, the opportunities for such are abundant in a variety of forums and threads where other non-members (Speedy Petey, et al) continuously ad to the knowledge base.

But instead, their psychosis drives them to haunt the gossip sections seeking minds weaker than their own to influence with their disparaging bashes aimed at NACHI --- under the pretense of doing good for the world.

Better minds have tried and failed.

A few years back, a kid from Massachusetts whose dad was a home inspector found himself holding the "family flashlight" when dad decided to get out and give him the business. Using his dad's reputation and contacts in ASHI, he thought he would increase his stature by attacking NACHI. He started a blog "NoNACHI.com" or something like that...all designed to warn the world and hurt our association.

With the assistance of an automobile mechanic from Rochester, NY, who did home inspections in his part time (Chad...Tad...something like that)....they fabricated such smut as they could in an attempt to discredit NACHI and...in addition...to discredit anyone that supported NACHI by paying dues. They went out of their way to publicly attack NACHI inspectors...then send out emails inviting real estate salespeople and news media folks to read their blog.

During his efforts, membership shot from 3500 to 6500 and, begging and crying like a woman at the threat of a lawsuit, he shut down his blog. Last heard, he sells real estate in Mexico....not even in the business, anymore. You will still see dribble from him on the anti-NACHI blog run by Mike O'Handjob, but that's about it.

They come and they go. They hate...they throw rocks...and eventually, they go away....and someone else takes their place.

You guys gave Roy a fair shot and he threw it in your face....and now wants to pretend to be a victim. Why? Who knows.

All we know for sure is that when he stops, and Wand stops, and harris stops, and macweazel stops....someone else will pick up the background noise. It comes with being the number one association for home inspectors in the world, I guess.

I am Roy, doing all I can to help INACHI, and all the new inspectors that join aswell.

If you wish to be helpfull then start now and move on put this behind you as we have all done and moved to a new and better future, the lack of drival from this was very refreshing and migrated into new posts and forward thinking.
If you want to be part of the forward motion then you need to adjust your sights to whats in front of you and stop looking behind you, like to have you on the team but you need to row the boat with the rest of us, if your gonna scream and cry then find anpother boat to be on. this boat is for winners and forward thinking inspectors.

I am guilty of trying to get info from the esop as they are the ones who removed me But refuse to show me or tell me what I did wrong for them to make decesions about me with out letting me know who or what I have done wrong . Then I get removed from NACHI ( never told why never offered a chance to defend my self )
