Ruling from the DPPC re Dave Bottoms an Open Letter to the BOD of OAHI

I recently filed a complaint against Dave Bottoms with the DPPC.

Below is the reply from the DPPC Chair Mr. Thomas Lloyd.

I have personally spoken to Dave some time agon regarding your complaint against him. If you have noticed Dave has not made any disparaging remarks against you on the CAFE as of late as per my talk with him. Both you and Dave were involved equally in this matter. One is as guilty as the other; with this being said you must learn to turn the other cheek and give the other room to voice their opinion without the childish antics, thereby fostering a better relationship. As far as your legal issue goes this is a matter for the courts and is beyond the scope of the DPPC's mandate which I previously informed you of. With this being said there will be no further sanctions against Dave other than those already placed upon him.

Well Mr. Lloyd I think your little talk has been futile! Of concern is your letter accusing me of conduct unbecoming of a member for using CHI and making other remarks yet here we have an associate running around threatening people again and enclosing a map of their residence. If that is not a threat and intimidation then I don't know what is. Obviously you are lacking the abilities to view this matter with the concerns required! Who is Mr. Bottoms to be threatening people and why is OAHI openly protecting him?

I sent in a letter of complaint. No one contacted me for any further info, not you or your committee. Yet above is your reply to the matter. Yes that was a very thorough investigation. Seemingly you have white washed the issues and contrary to your suggestion this is a matter for the courts is nonsense.

Mr. Lloyd I suggest you have a well known member running around threatening people. Just last night I was sent a series of emails from this individual mentioning family names and indicating that further action by Mr. Bottoms against my family maybe warraned!

Mr. Lloyd and Members of the BOD what are you doing to ensure a long time member is complaint with your own rules which you enforce on others, yet are remiss to impose on Mr. Bottoms?

Mr. Lloyd and members of the Board and Mr. Ron Segal of Blumberg Gairdner and Associates OAHI legal counsel, what are you doing to ensure that these antics of a mad man are not acted upon. I hold you responsible for any threats, actions of this individual because it was brought to your attention a number of times and you have failed to do anything but whitewash the matter.

None of you have any business being on a BOD or acting as a lawyer offering legal advice, when you know damn well what has and is gone on. This is not the only concern as you have all conspired to withold information from the members in the way of financial info and minutes, not to mention your lack of response to other serious issues and further complaints.

Here is the former Director complaining I should take a Ethics course. Hypocritical considering this is the director I complained to about Mr. Bottoms actions and statements on the CAFE.
