Many posts and many threats, and what about association and personal bashing that constantly has reared its ugly head for one and all to view. Some months ago I even put out a "challenge" on the Canadian side of the NACHI forum that was short lived within hours. The challenge was simple - just asking for respect and decency. BTW: The other side is unbelieveable too - post such as: John Bowman vs Frank Carrio - http://www.nachi.org/forum/f13/why-we-fight-manifesto-10330/

Its the same type of information and misinformation that can be read by others outside of the association - be it clients, realtors, legislators, or other associations and other home inspectors that can either leave an unfavourable or less than favourable view of what NACHI is all about.

Don't read me wrong NACHI offers lots, but unfortunately its value depends on the "real" value to more than just its members. This is not intended to be derogatory comment - but merely to remember about the good will or the damage that one takes away from reading some of the posts encountered throughout the forum.

It has sometimes pointed and provided clear evidence that can speak tons about credibility. I view it as serious cracks in the foundation, and the house is starting to develop some significant defects - Implication - repairs are required.
I agree and this seems to be being done by many .

Ya, I know, but I'm so darn hypocritical that I can't see it.
I don't care what damage I do to this association or its members.
I am bitter and I will badmouth OAHI and CAHPI and everyone else until the day I die.
If you or anyone else does not like what I have to say, then quit, I don't care.
Notice that NACHI does not dare touch my green box and turn it black like others. They let me and Raymond get away with murder here.
They are afraid that I will turn on them if they try to make me act like an adult instead of a baby.

I guess Dave Bottoms is back from the CAHPI conference up to his child like posts again, lying, pretending to be someone he is not because he is to immature and cowardly to post under his own name!

Claude

Why don't you get off the fence and ensure OAHI-CAHPI is compliant with your favoured National Program.

Your excuse that the financial records of OAHI are intellectual property is nonsense. For you to even suggest and or agree that the financial records are being witheld for this reason is foolish, and you are in part part of the problem and have done nothing but cow tow to those you despise.

You overseeing yourself and your cronies is contemptable and I don't think you would know or see a conflict if it were to hit you over the head!

Vern

I think you would be wise to team up with the non aligned inspectors in Alberta to ensure your voice and the others are heard. There is better representation from a group of like minded rather than from a rag tag group that has no backing from their association.

How many members are there in Nachi Alberta and how many non aligned inspectors are there in Alberta?

I understand that the National Certificates were handed out in Calgary.

Bill Mullen is Certificate No. NCA00001

I guess when you are number one and you think you are number one you get to get the first certificate! Nice!

So now that there are 97 Nationally Certified Inspectors amongst us, some of them women, (okay only 3), do I feel incompetent or any less qualified as an inspector? Do I feel any less qualified than Bill Mullen or any of the other men? NO! Sorry I will pit my skills and knowledge and experience against any of these women any day. There how is that for a male chauvanist pig statement?

Is it even possible for you to feel any more incompetent???

Personally, I'd like to see you go up against Char (Roy's wife). She's a Certified MASTER Inspector while you are.... um.... what??? A Retired Nobody with far too much time on your hands?

Congratulations to those 97 people who became national certificate holders. You've EARNED it the right way.

And just so you know Ray, your post above was dripping with jealousy. I'm surprised the text isn't all in green.

Thanks Dave,

How was the conference. Still a lowly Associate?

Right way? It remains to be seen just how successful the National actually is. Are you really so stupid to believe that not being National Certified is going to affect my credentials? It certainly won't help you.

Do be sure and let us know if Dave gets back to you.

As for your credentials being affected, no I don't think that NC will have any effect. You were a first class loudmouth idiot before they came out with the NC and you still hold that rank and always will.

Btw hypocrite you spend no time dishing Nachi and all its ills and everyone elses, but why would you be recommending an inspector on your website who is not a member of any association. After all you are the one preaching everyones ethics and scruples are lower than your own.

You are a real piece of work all right. What is the point of you seeking NC if you are only an associate? Nothing!

Still deceiving any potential clients that my come your way? Do you actually disclose to them you are unqualified, uninsured, inexperienced?

After all the hot air you have been expelling why would you inform clients that someone you list on your webpage as being qualified when he is not?

You are the biggest laugh that OAHI has ever created and let flourish. You have inadvertently caused OAHI to back down on their discipline matters because of your uneduacted assumptions. Thanks for the help I am forever indepted to your stupidity and your uneducated assumptions.
