The problems with these fittings have been widely discussed in the plumbing section. Does anyone know if the problem fittings made it to Canada?

not sure, but if they have QPEX stamped on them they are part of the outstanding issue.
I would be careful in stating they are a problem, just report the outstanding issue, give them the web site, zurnclassaction.com and recommend the client make their own decision. I had a few in my garage where I added an expansion tank, they are now laying in a box and new type installed.
