Default AARST Position Paper on Radon in Granite Countertops

I recently attended a 2 day Radon measurement course and was told that the AARST(American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists) would be releasing a statement regarding Radon and granite counter tops.

It has now been released. It covers risks, sources and measurement techniques.

Thanks Michael, its good to see this being laid to rest as a non-issue.

At this time, the EPA does not believe sufficient data exists to conclude that the types of granite
commonly used in countertops are significantly increasing indoor radon levels.
