Hey Paul, I have a great idea for raising money. Even if nachi had to purchase it, instead of hoping for a donation. How about raffleing off a flir camera?

Ken, we've been tossing that idea around about picking up a Flir unit and one of those new fangled CRM units from Sun Nuclear. Both are a work in progress deal. If we can latch on to either one that would be great.

Also, just another reminder, the Scholarship giveaway is now up to $1,000.00 per year for 4 years to a qualifying college candidate. So if you know of anyone looking for extra school money and they meet the reequirements have them submit an entry, the application is on the website. Deadline is the end of July. The scholarship is being provided by Homegauge and CH Insurance.

You have to be very careful if the verify request came in an email. There is a huge scam that has been ongoing for a couple of years. ID thieves send out a very authenticate looking email to PayPal and Ebay customers saying their account is in dispute or some such BS and ask the receipient to "verify" their account by clicking on a link within the email. If you ever get one like that you need to go to your account and see if the message is also there. If not it is a Phishing ploy. I get about two a month. You can forward the suspect email to Ebay or PayPal depending on which one you get and they will get back to you within minutes and verify if it came from them. The first thing is if you didn't get the message on your account it is most likely bogus. If this is the case and you have already sent them any personal information you need to go to your account and change passwords, etc ASAP.

Sorry for the thread drift but ID thief is not a joking matter and time is critical.

I also get these phishing e-mails weekly. Whenever ANY e-mail from Paypal or Ebay asks for ANY info, or tells me there is a problem of ANY kind, I forward the e-mail to spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com WITHOUT clicking on ANY link in the e-mail. Within minutes I get a response instructing me what to do. I trust NO ONE with my identity online or in e-mails.

Jeff

(I'm also very sorry for the thread drift)
