Ken

I dont have control over the tickets. The way the remaining ones are selling its anyones game right now. We appreciate the offer. I suppose you could request the last ticket number though, don't know if that will help or not.

Paul

No, I'm locked out of sending money from my account. I had to verify my identity and then call from my phone and because their drop down list of my phone numbers wasn't functioning properly, it said I failed the test and they had to send it to me in letter format. I passed all three other tests (or more) so I'm sure I'm fine...just irritated.

If you ever get one like that you need to go to your account and see if the message is also there. If not it is a Phishing ploy. I get about two a month. You can forward the suspect email to Ebay or PayPal depending on which one you get and they will get back to you within minutes and verify if it came from them. The first thing is if you didn't get the message on your account it is most likely bogus. If this is the case and you have already sent them any personal information you need to go to your account and change passwords, etc ASAP.

Sorry for the thread drift but ID thief is not a joking matter and time is critical.
You are so right, I bought a raffle ticket here and payed with paypal, (1st time I've used it) and they got me. I tried to buy another ticket and I had the same problem as Wendy just posted. That's why I told Paul I wanted to buy the last one, my paypal would not work. I saw your post Doug and went back to my e-mail, I forwarded the e-mail to spoof@paypal.com like you said, and sure enough it was not sent by paypal. I have been had! I will go to the bank tommorow and see how much money I no longer have! Thanks for the advisory. Ken

I am sorry to hear you got hit. I never leave any money in PayPal just for that reason. If for any reason they freeze your account you can not retrieve the money. Someone can contest or stop payment on the inspection and you will be out of luck. As soon as the money is posted to my account I move it. It takes a couple of days but the process of moving it has already taken place. I hope you let PayPal know immediately what has happened but more importantly change your password. You do not have to go the bank to see how much is in your Paypal account. YOu can check that online. You may end up having to start a new PayPal account and close the old one. When they catch these jerks they should throw the book at them but more times than not they end up hiring them to do security for the very people whom they rip off.

Sorry Ken.

Just to let you know. Mine was different. It was more of the second thing Doug is talking about. They froze my account because they thought someone accessed it. So it really stinks. I don't like it either. I'm going to use another option.
