Default Commercial SOP

I noticed the commercial SOP under electrical says to inspect the meter socket enclosure. Can anyone clarify that? Is the intent just to comment on the integrity of the enclosure?

I have no idea what it means exactly Gary, but I do report rusted, rotting switch gear panel enclosures (where the meters are located).

With the meter, of course. In dayton that would indicate that there is an extension cord going to a neighboring property. Marcel you snap the lock and disconnect the meter so your don't get zapped when you take the copper wire out.
