Default Condo & Townhome Wind Mit. Insp.

I am wondering if you inspect townhomes with multiple units in one building are you required to go inside each and every unit? I have heard that you only need to inspect 1 unit of the entire building and I have also heard that you must go in each unit in the building. Does anyone know the real answer?
