Risk vs. reward has always been a personal decision. Some risk is artificial, some is real. Scared people will always see risk. Doers will always see reward.

The county I live in and neighboring counties in both IL. and Mo. lawsuits against big corporations and individuals, such as doctors, many have closed shop and moved away, have made many lawyers and judges very rich. This has also caused all types of insurance to be extremely high just for being guilty of living here. I wonder if some would know what to do on a drop test with older model roll up doors?
Is the drop test not part of the fire door Inspection to make sure that it will perform as designed in case of fire? LEED Green Associates InachiAwardsPortal: Inachi US Member of the Year Award 2009 |

Probably say something like, "Damn, this door is heavy!", and, "Where am I gonna get a new one of those link thingies?"

Well, sir, I did not know that the drop test released all the tension in the torsion springs. You will need to get Overhead Door Technicians here to fix it. You will also need an Accustic Ceiling Contractor to remove the grid to access the Door mechanisms. Ah!, but the test past.
