I am moving into a new apt. and have had this problem before. I would rather it be done by an inspector so if there is any I can alert the landlord before I move in.

Some inspectors provide addtional services that test for various things common to a residental enviornment. Please indicate what kind of testing you are looking for and I'm sure those that provide those services will chim in.
