[ASKNACHI]This question was posted on AskNACHI.org by Drew (from Ottawa, ON). [/ASKNACHI]I need to get a pre-purchase home inspection done in Canada. I am curious if
there are any differences when inspecting a home in the province of Quebec comapred to a home in the province of Ontario? If there are differences, should I look for an inspector specializing in the province of Quebec, or will an inspector who works in Ontario be sufficient for Quebec inspections? |

Hi Drew,
It is usually best to choose an inspector who is local for many reasons. One being that they would be more familiar with local rules and regulations and good building practises or lack of. You can find a certified inspector at: http://www.inspectorseek.com/ . Hope this helps, |
