[ASKNACHI]This question was posted on AskNACHI.org by John F Janssen (from Hudson Wisconsin). [/ASKNACHI]I am looking at a house in Hudson Wisconsin to buy. They have a downstairs basement. It has no window, nor any type of ventilation fan. Is this a code violation?

A ventilation fan or window is required for a bathroom. Home Inspectors are not code officials but would point this situation out as a concern during a home inspection. P.S. I'm a home inspector in Hudson WI.
