MSI suspends its certification program to support CMI.

Hi Barry,

Thank you for writing to express your interest in MSI certification. We are not currently certifying home inspectors. We never officially ended our home inspector certification but we have been working with and backing InterNACHI and CMI certification for the past few years. Our certification requirements are approximately the same as the CMI requirements. It is on the best interest of the real estate community to have one universally recognized advanced home inspector certification so we have suspended our home inspector certification program and have put our full support behind the CMI certification. We continue to offer certifications in other construction and project management fields and commercial inspection.
