Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The word WORLDS means the unfolding of events that make up eternity... and all of these are made (come forth) of things which do not appear (the word of God).

John, think about what you just said, so great. The physical worlds were formed by the Word (you can't physically put your finger on a Word). The Bible is but a nuclear physics 101 manual.

This explains why prayer (words) works. OK, I'm done tonight, I'm never going to get to sleep now . John it was great.

John's post #46 says what I've been struggling to say all evening:

On a side note... it has been determined that there is more empty space in matter
than solid. Thus it is possible for another dimension to share our same space,
but at another wave length. It really is amazing when you think about this fact,
that we have a God that can allow several dimensions to share the same space.
Seeing how they inter react is a gift.

However, before we crank this thing up, the "two" of us need to "gather together" in room, alone, to ask for help from a third party who will be there. And with that kind of help...
Bump... worth repeating.

As you know, earlier this month we increased our membership requirements again with the addition of our Green Building course, a 10 hour course with 49 quizzes and a final exam: http://www.nachi.org/gonegreen2007.htm

Anyway, because we made this course free and open to all (one can take it before applying for membership even though you don't have to complete it right away to join) we had a fella start it (presumably to just get it out of the way) before applying for membership. He didn't even get 1/2 way through and he was emailing me and calling the office mad as hell. He didn't say anything bad about the course, but called us a bunch of ****holes for requiring so much of members. I was polite and told him to join ASHI. Whereby he replied "I'm already a member of ASHI you ****hole!" and then he hung up.

Joe Farsetta wrote a pretty good online course on plumbing inspections for us. Gerry Beaumont wront a pretty good online course on plumbing inspections for us. Kenny Hart wrote a pretty good online course on plumbing inspections for us. None, IMHO, were perfect (close though)... so they were never released. 2 weeks ago I hired an expert (a veteran inspector who also holds a degree in education and a PA teaching certificate) to take the best from all 3 courses and create the ultimate, comprehensive plumbing inspection course out of them. We'll credit all 4 authors. Anyway, our plan is to release this long awaited course and make it an additional free membership requirement. Maybe that fella I spoke with today is correct... we're ****holes .
I just had an email exchange with Nick. I was joking and not trying to smoke - I mean stir the pot. It's been a very long time since I've been an angry man and plan to keep it that way. Insert < angel emoticon />

BAck to Nick's post and questions regarding a COE and SOP for CalNACHI.

Bottom line is that no SOP or COE would ever draw me to join any organization. The SOP suggested (pushed) at CalNACHI is interesting, but I want to see the first E&O carrier bless it and not require changes to it or higher premiums/deductible for those using it. That's the 1st thing I'd be curious to see.

Beyond that, SO WHAT. What do either of these DOCs do for ANY inspector? Nothing, IMO. Will these docs be made available for FREE to any software vendor to incorporate into their report writing suite?

IF we get past THAT hurtle, I have still seen NO INCENTIVE to dump one org in place of another, UNLES that other choice is InterNACHI.

We, as an org, should be pushing that mantra.

Unless CalNACHI comes up with something unique. Have they?

Perhaps someone from California could answer the question: Why, out of the 51 states and multiple countries participating with NACHI --- does California need it's own, unique NACHI?

What is it about NACHI that falls short, that only a CalNACHI could fulfill?
The answer to your question is on the Internachi home page Jim, the following quote is what CalNachi believes they are; CALNACHI... California's best inspectors. I think they are trying to accomplish another way or alternative to CMI and they don't believe InterNachi's SOP or COE are up to snuff, they want to ride,(read use) on the wave of the worldwide recognition of InterNachi, but promote their org. as superior. I may be wrong, but this is my theory.

It started(read created) out with a thought, is formed,(read physical) by a spoken word, and is manifested,(read appears) in it's final form. Nick the word you are looking for is Firmament, it is the space or dimension between the Spiritual,(thought) and the Physical(manifestation. This is what he meant when he said we were made in his image and likeness, we have the power to create just like him. this was confirmed when Jesus(God) said he had called us gods,(his likeness) emphasis on small g. You have been given a gift from above(wisdom). Awesome!

Joe this is just another attempt to rewrite INTERNACHI'S SOP and COE in my opinion. In other words splintering of our org. Beware, a house divided cannot stand!

Actually, the SOP in use with CalNACHI was originally written to replace NACHI's....but it never made it past the first round of critique. It's author, who coincidentally happens to be the ED of CalNACHI, couldn't sell it. From all apparent indications, he still can't.

It appears that the wisdom of CalNACHI at this time is silence.

Having spoke to Keith a few times over the years I have the feeling that the eggnog will be long curdled and turned to several years old aged cheese long before Keith and Company answers to bushart
