WHY ARE HOME INSPECTORS NOW USING INFRARED CAMERAS?

In recent years home inspectors have stated using a new high tech tool in their
inspection process called an infrared camera. This new tool allows the inspector to
see slight temperature variations that are unseen by the human eye. A properly
trained thermographer can understand and diagnose these images in order to
reveal hidden defects in many areas of the building.

SUPERIOR INSPECTION

Without thermal imaging, somethings go unseen. Now you can see what others
only guess about. Thermal images can help reveal problems about moisture (which
may be conducive to mold, decay and termites), electrical system hot spots,
deficient insulation, Heat/AC and duct system defects, structural issues, plumbing
leaks, and more...

PROFIT AND SALES VOLUME

One of the huge benefits of thermal imaging for the inspector is the ability it gives your
company to distinguish itself from the competition. By showing the consumer that you
have advanced technology and are able to provide a superior inspection service, this
create a dynamic advantage. Consumers are looking for a professional company that
can provides a superior service. Thermal imaging is the key that allows the inspector
to stand out in the crowd and add dynamic value to their inspections.

REDUCE LIABILITY

By finding more hidden defects you reduce liability, instead of your Client finding them
later and becoming upset with the suprise issues that you missed. Thermal imaging
provides protection for the Client and the Inspector. It's value is worth every penny.
