You guys have not done any marketing until you done them in the middle of the Midwest. The rest of the markets in the U.S. seems easy pickings to me. Sad but true.

Good point on the moisture meter. When I use mine I get mixed responses from Realtors. Some think it's a cool device and they smile while others kind of grin and look at me like, "who the &$#@ do you think you are with that thing?" But buyer ALWAYS smile and are happy I have one.
Whatever tools you use it comes down to two things.
1.
Do you know what the hell you are doing with that thing?
2. Are you using it because you believe it will provide your client with a better inspection?
If you can answer yes to both then who cares what anyone else thinks...it's your business and after all it's your job to be the best you can be for your client. If you are balking on the idea of getting a thermal camera solely based on your thoughts that Realtors won't refer you as a result, well you are likely the type who will pull punches and push soft reports too.
