That's sorta what made me ask. The differential makes this either a big deal or not. I am still curious to know what it was. He's in Ontario, so you never know.

I had one on Thursday. They had frost on the interior walls in these areas. Indoor Relative Humidity was 79%.

Marc good observations, you are right it was not a huge deal. A very easy fix, after the shot I went in the attic and could see that someone was just too lazy (or fat) to crawl through all the trusses to get across the attic right to the edge of the attic and fill the voids with insulation. Looks like the builders labourer will be doing a little crawling in the attic soon. It was about -9 degrees celcius outside today with a cosy indoor temp of 20 degrees celcius.
