This course are being held at the Enterprise Center in Mount Laurel, NJ. Normally priced at $995, this course is available to NACHI members for only $500!


Infrared Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors is a 16 hour theory and application course for the use of thermal imaging for residential and commercial properties. Designed specifically for home and building inspectors, students are taught how to locate deficiencies in building envelopes, insulated roofs, and building subsystems.

Taught by highly experienced Level III instructors, this course provides in-depth and practical instruction for thermographically detecting hidden problems in electrical systems, HVAC systems, roofs, and building sidewalls. It also covers how to successfully market, price, and sell infrared inspection services. Students are welcome to bring their own imager for individualized training or to learn how to use it more effectively.

Course completion may be applied to training requirements for thermographer certification through Infraspection Institute and the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

Course is approved by NACHI for 16 hours of continuing education.

Looks like we have some competition, eh John?

No slam intended, Jim.

We have found, in Illinois, that when good quality courses are offered (usually, by NACHI or NACHI Chapters) that the lesser education vendors (and I am not including you in that phrase, Jim) are forced to lower their prices.

Home inspectors, who usually don't have a lot of free cash, benefit.

Used to be, in Illinois, that an inspector would pay $220 + for 3 hours of state approved CE (offered by "gonifs" from some of the "other associations" who wanted to retire as "education vendors"), but since iNACHI Chicago got into the act, the prices are now down to (for 3 hours of state approved (and required) CE, $25 - 30, for iNACHI Chapter members, $35 - 40 for iNACHI non-chapter members and $65 - 70 for non-interNACHI members.

All this, and better, more challangeing course material as well. In our area, Thermal Imaging is, predominently, an InterNACHI thing.
