Default Moisture Issue

How many of you would have walked passed this one? I would have!

This is the top of a main entry door. The master bath tub was directly above this wall.

My client was the renter thinking of purchasing the property from the owner and he has lived there for over a year. He didn't now about it.

Does not appear to be any evidence to the naked eye. IR cameras are great. Good catch, Kevin.

Nice find Kevin but don't think I would have missed it because moisture meters have been around longer than IR cameras. Two Red flags for me Upstairs bathrooms and chimney flashings always get checked with moisture meters regardless of any visible evidence of leakage. IR cameras just make it easier.

Good point, Charley!

Sounds like you are one heck of an Inspector

Kevin
