I was in Wal-Mart getting some Turkey when I heard one of the Deli workers talking about a possible roof leak. I told them I could find it's location then went to my truck to get my camera. I'm sure they thought I was crazy until I returned with the camera
I found the leak in about 3 seconds. Although I couldn't view the whole area, they confirmed the location to be exactly where they assumed. The deli workers were very impressed. 1st picture is of the roof leak. 2nd and 3rd pictures are of the cooler doors that I grabbed food from about 10 minutes before. OK so why do the 2 doors that you opened appear to be cooler than the doors you didn't open?

He was stalking Wal-Mart at 1 in the am....
Brandon, good find. Now you need to answer Bob's question... Someone is going to ask you this. You must be ready for it. We are not going to be there to bail you out when someone asks. You are amongst friends. Work on it here. Also tell us what the hot spots under the doors are... "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different results." I'll take a stab at it. When those doors were opened it turned the fan on and is blowing colder air on them. The hot spots below are from the motors.

My best guess: Since you can't really pick up on temperatures through glass, I'm mainly seeing reflective heat on the majority of all the glass doors. The doors turned blue after I opened them because when I opened them I exposed the outer service to cold air. When I opened the doors and allowed cold air to get to the outer service, I was then able to pick up on a colder reading from the exterior glass surface? I would assume the heat coming from the bottom areas is being produced by the fans keeping the freezing temps/air moving through the coolers? I may be way off but hopefully I'm close? I start Level 1 training tomorrow so the advanced learning begins and hopefully the guessing ends. Is that an open top refrigerated food display opposite the stand up doors you opened?

Your actually correct!
Last weekend I was running around downtown Salt Lake City at 3am taking pictures of buildings and everything else. I just can't get enough of what this camera is capable of. I'm looking forward to getting some good images of the Vegas casinos during the InfraMation conference next week. 2 weekends ago I took the camera for a midnight Infrared wildlife hunt. I saw about 100+ animals within about a 15 mile stretch. You can see some of the animals at the blog link below. It appears EVERYBODY is logged onto ActiveRain at the moment. You may not be able to view the blog or images until tomorrow or some folks go to bed.. http://activerain.com/blogsview/1892...hunting-guide- Brandon Clark, Certified Infrared Thermographer, CPI, IAC2, Infrared Certified Email : brandon@IrUtah.com www.IrUtah.com www.pwrck.com www.UtahInfraredInspection.com www.OgdenUtahHomeInspection.com www.SaltLakeCityInspection.com |
