Try this one Wayne, one seater with a straight pipe and trying to shoot IR would be a little hard

I got no qualms about flying. Good to know we have a semi-local option next time I get a chance to bid a big rooftop. Can I borrow your camera though? I'd hate to drop mine.

I would like to see the images, as I doubt the resolution will be acceptable.
Who's going to do the cad drawing for the customer?

Are CAD drawings required? I've believe FLIR BuildIR has grid overlays for that. You can also bring images into Photoshop and add layers/overlays. No sense in paying big bucks for third party services.

And your qualifications to judge IR images are-------??????? did not see them listed on your web site. As for the CAD drawings the chopper pilot I use is also a CAD software designer. Anything else you need to know about my business just let me know.

Easy Charley, easy...
I am a doubting Thomas. I have seen others try to capture images via a helicopter with little success.
Actions do speak louder than words...so do you have an image or not?
Great to hear you CAD with your reports. It's a huge plus.

When someone comes on like one of John M's students it ruffles my feathers I have spent lots of time and money getting qualified to judge the quality of my images before I present them to a client as to whether images can be captured from a helo or not there is a gentlemen right there in NJ that would beg to differ your opinion his name is Jim Sefferin of Infraspection institute. BTW my helo experience has been limited to one trial excursion and I posted the image taken on my web site I did not borrow from someone else. The image on your web site appears that it may have been obtained from United Infrared or did you personally take it

Charley, I was referring to the task and difficulty of taking a quality of due to the hovering of the helo, not your ability to do so. I am sure you are a "focused" thermographer.
As for Mr. Jim Seffrin, not "Sefferin" of Infraspection Institute, he was my instructor for Level I in NJ which is posted dead center of the home page of my web site; www.afullhouseinspection.com. I have the utmost respect for him. However, I am not a student of John M.
So I can truthfully tell you about the "image" on my web site, which one are you referring to?
Good L(abor) U(nder) C(orrect K(nowledge) with your new business adventure, I am sure it will take off with flying colors.
