My only complaint about testo imagers is that, at least in their early models, the raw images from the camera were heavily "pixelated" and blocky, much more so than other comparable meters. I downloaded the testo IR software and played around with their example images, and it really looks bad if you take off the image smoothing (which all of their sample pics have, they don't look so pretty right off the camera). The youtube videos I saw confirmed this blockiness was present during use on the viewfinder. Just sayin' I was impressed until I saw that. Please contact a rep and demo one before purchase, they may have fixed it by now on newer testo's

John, what is the best price you have seen on the Flir B300? It seems like it is up to doing everything I need but, 11,000 is a bit high. Have you had any personal experience with it or any of the other B series?

Also, what are you seeing as pricing on doing inspections using IR?
