Default HERS Raters Interested in Becoming an SPFA Inspector

Informational Webinar for HERS Raters Interested in Becoming an SPFA Inspector

The Spray Polyurethane and Foam Alliance (SPFA) and the Residential Energy Service Network (RESNET) have joined together to offer Home Energy Rating Systems (HERS) Raters the opportunity to become credentialed SPFA Building Envelope Inspectors.

SPFA is a trade association comprised of contractors, manufacturers and distributors of polyurethane foam, equipment and protective coatings, inspectors, surface preparation and other services. Our members are professionals who are successful because of their knowledge, experience, and capability in providing long-lasting applications of polyurethane foam systems. To demonstrate their skills and proficiency as a professional applicator, they can earn an SPFA credential which requires an inspection to support this new program.

How: Learn more during our informational webinar

When: Thursday, June 2 10:00-10:30am Eastern time
REGISTRATION REQUIRED- please click on the link below to reserve your seat for the webinar.

Where: Anywhere that you have internet and telephone access

Why: The demand for Building Envelope (BE) inspections is growing for SPFA. As part of our credentialing process, we require BE inspections for Spray Foam applicators. These inspections need to be done very soon after the applicator sprays the foam and before it is covered by the wall. In order to meet this growing demand, SPFA has partnered with RESNET to give the experienced HERS Raters the opportunity to learn more about becoming an SPFA Building Envelope Inspector. This is a business opportunity for you, as well as chance to assist this growing industry and SPFA's efforts to raise the bar on safe and quality applications. Please join us for this short informational webinar.

If you have questions, please contact Kelly Cook Marcavage at SPFA 1-800-523-6154 or kmarcavage@sprayfoam.org.
