Just read this thread, and then watched the video. I guess he could cut his time down if the popcorn didn't take so long.

The moral of this thread is: You better have thick skin if you post a video of actual inspection processes.

I'm sure Mike was on top of it back when he did inspections, I think he is just into the inspector marketing business now so you guy's should go easy on him. Maybe he came back later and did some more, I do that sometimes, always double checking some things.

That's how he became a Millionaire Inspector. He can do 14 home inspections a day at this rate.

That is the one item I am always afraid I will forget about.
I swear I ask my client and RE people to not let me forget every inspection.

More than once I made a call and asked if I remembered.

One thing that I often forget to do is check and make sure that the tap water is not flammable.

If they skip the hot water and popcorn and maybe the kissing a@@ part asking the buyer so what job do you do... break it down to 4 min and get 25 inspections a day in.

Im happy he made a video and there is no way im gonna go easy on someone that the purpose of the video is for us to cut corners and spend less time only 7 min. I would rather be there all day then get a call back. 5 yrs now not 1 call back, maybe i take too long but I sleep well at night knowing I did my best.

The stone (granite) counter top ... I run my hands over the surface to pick cracks that sometime are almost invisible due to poor lighting, be surprised how upset the lady of the house will be if you miss that one ... agree with others, missed anti-tip device, checking cabinets, etc.
Agree with Bob, learn here from others.
