Considering that 80% of the product up here is installed incorrectly, Hardie will just deny any claim as an installation not in accordance with the required procedures.

I recently went over to my neighbors house because he was having hardie plank installed. He told me the contractor was recommended by hardie...I had to give the guys the "HUGE 3 page full of drawings manual" (comes with the packages), to show them they were improperly installing the product.

Most Contractors dont Read the SPECS much less the MFG literature..

Hardie Plank materials are always exceptional..
The installation is always questionable....

There will Always be, some attorney with time in their schedule to file "this" type claim......
