fl statue 468.8323

I am wondering if this status will begin to bring problem i see already that i am being questioned on faucets and valves being at the end or near there service life as they are trying to using this to lower the sale price and is becoming a problem.

The agent gets upset and tells you to stop killing there deal.

How do you prevent this as i am seeing that it has begun and those that report on the statue requirements will start to see this as a problem as we must now report on all inspected components that are near the service life. ( is there a list of what component are not required ? ) plus you now have to give them of why or how the component is deficient or near the end of its service life.

Anyone see any problems here.

Happy Thanksgiving Luis,

You mention faucets and valves, so I assume that you have determined that these faucets and valves need repair or replacement, yes?

If the component is bad, defective, or at the end of it’s useful life you are correct in reporting it. The newly adopted SOP defines our role in the process, don’t shy away from it. Send the complaining sales agent to the appropriate site and let them educate themselves on what our duties are to the client.

What the client does with the inspection data (you mention “trying to lower the sale price”) shouldn’t change the manner in which you inspect or report on deficient items. Any agent that instructs you to “stop killing the deal” needs education, assuming you are reporting accurate data.

I’m in your neighborhood (Orlando) and you’re free to look me up and chat at any time.

Dom.

Shut-off valves do not have to be inspected.

Don’t you mean, shut-off valves do not have to be “operated”. You still have to inspect them.

Happy Thanksgiving

Yes, sorry
