Roof-to-Wall Retrofit (Wind Mit)

See photos. One strap (not two) secured at both ends to the top plate. It meets all the minimum requirements and falls under the definition of “Single Wraps” but the strap is not installed as designed (see page 84 and 85 here… http://www.strongtie.com/ftp/catalogs/S-C-INSTALL14.pdf).

How would you answer question 4 on the wind mit form?

I would mark other. Not installed properly

It actually meets the definition of a double wrap if you take the 1802 literally. But, that is not an approved roof to wall connection, and most likely not permitted. I would select “Other” also.
