On average. What is the estimated time frame of starting the online course, state testing to being able to start being a state certified home inspector?

Give or take a few years depending on one's previous experience.

Great Question Jesse,

First of all the education is typically self paced. You can get the education and license in Florida in about 2-3 months. Most of that time is waiting.

Second comes marketing. There is no secret recipe and there is no guaranteed success.

Three comes from experience.

There are currently more inspectors than inspections. Not to say there is not work available, there is, but it is not a great time to be an inspector compared to the previous years.
