    Thanks Paul. I have built many houses in the past and my electrician always install the receptacles at least 14" from the floor. My concern is: Let said you spill a glass of water or break a bottle of wine. The liquids will go into the receptacle, posible trippping the breaker or causing some harm?? Is my assumption correct??

    No, their is no problem with the receptacles being that low and it should not be a problem.
