I am being sued. There is a post about it that I started today in the Legal section of the message board that gives all the detail. I spoke to a lawyer yesterday who has never messed with anything having to do with home inspections, but had some good ideas. I have not made a decision yet as to whether I will use him. He thinks I have a good chance to get off just on the statute of limitations itself. I also have and arbitration clause in my report that limits any recovery to the amount of the inspection fee. I would appreciate any guidance that you could give me before I make a decision about an attorney. I could even email you a copy of the suit if that would help. Thanks
