I greatly appreciate your input in the NachiTV educational vidoes, please keep it up.
On two occasions, the old home sop and the electric wall video, you mention false readings when the outlet is grounded to a metal outlet box only. I've tried experimentally to reproduce this but do not get a false reading. The outlet tests ungrounded unless the metal box is grounded somehow. The only possibility I can see is if the outlet was finding a ground path back to the source thru BX or conduit. Am I missing something? John Kogel
