Indoor Air Inspection Industry forms Alliance
Shared vision to provide new growth opportunities for inspectors.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Williamsport, PA, Boulder, CO and Weston, FL – March 28, 2007 -- The indoor air quality inspection industry took a significant step forward
today as the Environmental Solutions Association (ESA), the International Association
of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2), the National Association of Certified
Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and PRO-LAB, Inc. announced a new strategic alliance to
dramatically increase the technical level and amount of environmental training
being offered to inspectors in North America.
“By combining our unique strengths we will accelerate the delivery of standardized
training for the performance of environmental inspections such as mold and radon,”
said IAC2 and InterNACHI Founder Nick Gromicko. Other goals of the alliance include
the development of marketing tools and report writing products for indoor air
inspectors. “We are proud to join industry giants InterNACHI, PRO-LAB and IAC2 as the
alliance’s premier trainer,” said Cal Zehring, President/Founder of ESA. The
alliance is the sum of all four critical corners: training, inspectors, marketing,
and laboratory. "Finally there is an inexpensive path for inspectors to become
fully trained and certified to add environmental inspections to their list of
services offered," said James McDonnell of PRO-LAB.
