Goal:
The goal of this intensive
online course of solid instruction is to provide accurate and useful information to
individuals preparing for a successful career in residential property
inspection in Mississippi. This course will also enhance the existing skills
and knowledge of experienced property inspectors.
In the 60-hour online pre-licensing
course there are: 230,569 words in the course; 111,000 words in the student
textbooks; 10 minutes of video; 1,061 assessment questions, including quiz and final examination.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of
this course, the student will be able to:
- perform a home inspection according to a Standards of Practice;
- list what is required and not required by a home inspector to perform an inspection;
- inspect all systems and components of a home during a typical home inspection;
- describe to clients how the systems and components of a typical home function; and
- communicate in writing indications of observed defects.

The Mississippi 60-Hour Online Pre-Licensing Course for Home Inspectors is a combination of the following online courses. You are required to take all of the courses in order to fulfill the 60 hours of required training.
