InterNACHI and ASHI prohibit participation in preferred vendor schemes which bribe real estate agents into breeching their fiduciary duty to their clients by recommending inspectors that pay the most instead of the best inspectors based solely on merit.

 

If your real estate agent recommends an inspector, is it because the inspector is good... or is it because the inspector PAID for the recommendation?
