The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors joins forces with Structural Narcotics Detection Services to fight in the war on drugs. Methamphetamine is an ever present problem throughout the world. In some states Home Inspectors are held responsible for reporting signs of “meth labs”. Some states are requiring disclosure of former “drug labs” in real estate transactions and future disclosure requirements seem eminent. Many landlords are having testing done between tenants to protect themselves. Drug pollution can cause a property to be quarantined until cleanup is completed or even demolished.
