Subject:  Tennessee Continuing Education Course Approval

Dear Ms. Endza:

On December 22, 2009, this office received your supporting materials and documentation asking that we review and approve a course that your organization developed for the purpose of providing continuing education credits to licensed Tennessee Home Inspectors.
 
The Following course was approved under the instructor you submitted:

“How to Inspect the Attic, Insulation, Ventilation and Interior”      (14) Hours 

    Each approved course title will be assigned a Tennessee continuing education (CE) number and will be listed under the course provider's name along with the number of hour sfor which the course was approved.  Our website address for reviewing your information as a course provider is www.state.tn.us/commerce/boards/hic  Click on "education information."

    Please remember, in accordance with Administrative Rule # 0780-5-12-.07(f) within five (5) working days after the completion of each course, the provider shall submit to the commissioner a list of all attendees, including, if applicable, the attendees’ license numbers.  If the course is for continuing education, each licensee successfully completing the course shall be furnished a certificate certifying completion
