Texas Real Estate Commission approved continuing education.

Clearview Building Science Institute (ClearviewBSI), a division of Cahill Inspection Services, has announced an 8 hour seminar entitled  “Inspecting Concrete Slab Foundations”. 

Texas is famous for troublesome soil conditions and developing a method of assessing performance is often one of the more confusing tasks for a home inspector. Foundation performance opinions are most often not clear-cut. Forming an opinion requires consideration of a multitude of variables. This course will help take the confusion out of one of the most important elements in a home inspection. 

This course is being taught by InterNACHI member John Cahill, a 19 year Texas home inspection veteran. John is owner of ClearviewBSI and a past instructor for a national education company. This  multi-city tour includes Dallas, Houston,, San Antonio and Austin. For your convenience, larger cities will be served with two locations to choose from.

 InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) members will receive a special discount.  If you are not a InterNACHI member,  you can still qualify for the discount by simply asking for a InterNACHI Information Package. The seminar is approved for 8 hours of Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and InterNACHI continuing education credits.  

The course will discuss the many variables an inspector faces when forming a conclusion on a foundation and will offer many  helpful tips on how to present the information to the home buyer.
