We are having a meeting March 12, 2005 at 8:00 am in Elmira, NY. It will be on Heating Systems in Residential. We would like to invite everyone in the Finger Lakes area and Northern Pa. to attend. Formal Announcement will be posted later.

NACHI NY Fingerlakes Chapter meeting Saturday March 12th, 2005


Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 a.m. for registration.

Place: Wallin Insurance Agency, 1364 College Avenue, Elmira, N.Y. 14901

Directions:

(From the North) I-86 to Rte 14S (Elmira Heights Exit). Rte 14S turns into College Ave. Wallin Insurance is on the left side across from Southern Tier Hardware Plaza.

(From the South) Rte. 14N turn left on Woodlawn Ave. (Next light past Wegmans Plaza). Turn right at next light onto College Avenue. Wallin Insurance will be on your right hand side about 3 blocks down.

Everyone is cordially invited to the next meeting of the NY Fingerlakes Chapter of the National Association Of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), Saturday, March 12th. The meeting is open to all and casual. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and coffee and donuts will be available. Bring your own lunch. (A fast food chain and sandwich shop are located close to the premises).

GUEST SPEAKERS AND INSTRUCTORS:

8:00 a.m. to noon - HVAC Training -

Mr. John Drake - Owner/Operator of a family owned business. Jon's Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Mr. Drake is Nationally recognized for his heating system design for one of the largest historical churches in the country. (Located here in Elmira). Mr. Drake has been an instructor for the local Elmira School District SCT BOCES program, and has performed hundreds of seminars and training sessions on HVAC systems. His knowledge of systems and familiarity of the NY/PA area are an asset to any Home Inspector in the Northeast. A definite can not miss HVAC Training Seminar.

Noon to 1:00 p.m. - Lunch and conversation. Meet your friends and neighbors.

1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - NACHI & NACHI Foundation

We had another day of good information today. We here the southern tier of NYS had a HAVC Seminar. Just want to thank Jon Drake and Rick Bate for a good teaching session. We learned alot about Forced Air, Hot Water Boilers, and Steam Boilers. We you could of all been there.


Want to also thank everyone who was there because the effort to put these together is only successful because of you all. Especially want to thank the Canadian Friends.

Trust me it was well worth the trip. Not only GREAT training by John, but it was a pleasure to meet others from around the region.

Look forward to attending the next one down there.
