Joe, yes we are a registered Education Provider in Illinois. I do not have the # available, but Aimee asked this question last week, so she may have the # by now.

Dave

You da man!

I was unable to find NACHI listed as a provider on their site. Since I represent NACHI as a trainer there should be some indication of that somewhere.

David,

According to the Illinois Office of Banks and Real Estate, NACHI is not an approved continuing education provider.

Hi to all,

NACHI Education applied for the Educational provider # in August of 2004, and I was told by Nick that he has the number, and he posted previously that we had had courses approved.

http://www.nachi.org/chicago.htm

I have emailed Illinois twice now to ask why we are not listed on their website, and have not recieved an answer !

Joe, based on Nick prior post I know of no reason why a course taught by you should not get a license #.

Here is a link to the required form:

Please contact me direct if you need help here.

Regards

Gerry

I talked to IL. They cashed our $1,000.00 check. Approved us as an education provider, but we don’t get published as such until we provide them with an actual curriculum for the course we are providing, which up until now… we haven’t offered any continuing education courses.

We did this ground work and paid this fee so that any NACHI member desiring to provide approved continuing education courses in IL can do so through merely the submission of his/her course outline.

I sent in the completed application and fee to be the Provider on behalf of NACHI in Illinois with the material that included my book: “Basic Checklists for Building Electrical Inspections” and I also sent it to Aimee to be reproduced for the CE requirements in Illinois, and to be sold by NACHI as I promised with the funds going to the NACHI Foundation.

I will continue to apply as requested by NACHI, we are looking into Oklahoma and Texas
