So as to perform inspections for FHA and VA loans is there anything special I need to do? Certification, approved by them, registered with them, special forms need completed, or can anyone do these inspections?

Now I am confused. Wife called the Hud office for me and she was told by them that there are no requirements or special forms for Home Inspectors. They have something for the appraisers but not the Inspectors.

Go here:

And this should help.

I appreciate the help. It appears that there are requirements to be met if one is to inspect “public housing” places. But not for individual residences that are being bought with FHA / VA loans.

James,

I am not sure if this is the same thing you are thinking about. But you may find it helpful.
