I agree. Imagine that. icon_eek.gif

John,
Move it to the MO, please.

I have been a part of many, many, many threads over the years that either should never have happened, should have been in the MO section or should have been deleted in there entirety.

I think a good portion of us (regular posters) occasionally, get caught up in this stuff and let our emotions get the better of us. Hell, I know I am guilty.

I want to let you all know that even though I have said or insinuated some very bad things about certain people at different times over the last couple of years, I really do have the utmost respect for the people that are willing to speak their minds in such a public place. However, the personal stuff should be just that, personal.

I am as guilty of this and possibly more so than any other member.

I will do my best, not to let my personal feelings toward anyone that uses this board be posted in public domain.

That being said, I think myself and Jim Bushart should abide by the wishes of Mr. Joe farsetta and be civil with one another. To this end, I will admit that I thru the first( personal) punch at Jim B.

I apologize.

Don't fret I have your phone # icon_lol.gif

OK John, move this thread the hell outta here. icon_lol.gif

I do read Dr. Suess to my grandkids. They enjoy the "life" I put into it.

Actually, right now I am reading Volume II of a compilation of arguments (like there aren't enough of them to read here) that were published by both sides of the issue during the national debate regarding the ratification of our present constitution. It is absolutely fascinating.

That was pretty obvious earlier, today, when he suffered an attack of "turret finger" syndrome on another thread. He didn't edit it fast enough. Now, it's there for all to read. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Well, for myself I would probably not read such things, unless of course I ran out of unread scifi books that are lying around the house.

One of the best books I have read in some time is called "Timbukto"
by Paul Aster. It's a simple story with a message. Also, I recently read; The richest man in Babylon by George S. Clason. excellent book that I would recommend to anyone 144 pages of good info, and it has a nice story to boot.

Mostly, I read crap like Steven King though.

While I am jabbering about the book thing. Have you ever met a person that will not read a book no matter what you do to try an convince them that it is worth the trouble? I have. icon_cry.gif icon_cry.gif

His poetry was odd...much of it written while he was drunk. But two stories, A Descent Into the Maelstrom and The Tell Tale Heart are good reading, IMO.
