A week or so ago I read a great post about what to write in a comment about a finding. Was writen with colors to highlight the function of each sentence. Something like, issue, hazard concerns, what to do about it etc.

I looked for it again and again but can’t find it.

Anybody know it?

Peter,

No problem. I liked it too. I had started revamping some of my canned report comments a while back to follow that pattern and was glad to see that post, as it kind of reinforced my decision.

In general, though, I leave the "how to repair it part" up to whomever I am deferring to, especially electrical, HVAC, and portions of plumbing.
