Looking for a New Report... HELP

For well over 6 years I’ve been using the ITA Property Reports. I find them fairly accurate , however, I’m not real satisfied with their service icon_sad.gif and would like to find a report that is simiar. I would prefer to have a standard size report (8 1/2 x 11). I get more benefit out of the written on-the-spot report then the computer generated report. Can anyone suggest a source for these reports.

Thanks Dave O.

David,

Had the same problem years ago. Got tired of looking and just wrote my own. Have them printed by a local printer who does a fantastic job. It is on NCR paper. Massage it every couple of versions to make it more user friendly and it is way cheaper than buying someone elses. You can make it fit the SOP like a glove. You already know what items and discrepancies continually show up so you can make your report fit your style and area to a T. My report forms run me about $3 a set and that includes the contract sheet.

I’d worry first about what’s best for my customers as, in the long run, that’s best for me. Given that, I’d switch to HomeGuage Computer software.

But, if you're stuck, try this link for an onsite report.

Am I the only one that uses a custom Word report form? I have a separate document with lots of standard phrases that I cut and paste into the report. It seems to work well for me and I didn’t pay a dime for it (but I spent countless hours developing it.)

Very good tool, been around forever, excellent track record...a problem using the delete button on carbonless paper though. ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)

Joe F,

You're not the only one. I created my own after using a couple

other written reports. All it costs now is the paper.

...and ink.

No you are not alone. I used MS Word to build my report forms too. Been producing my own report for years and have kept hundreds of dollars in my account versus paying someone else to produce them. I have several computer and PDA software programs but I still prefer mine over all them. I just got a letter today from a client who went on forever about how thorough and easy it was to read and understand. Like you said, it takes a little time but it is easy to change or massage when I want to and cost very little.
