I met with Lorne today in California and we are planning on offering a commercial inspection course during the convention. http://www.nachi.org/convention2006.htm

The commercial inspection field is very lucrative.

I didn't see anything in the schedule for it, when is it?

I just met with Lorne on Saturday. We’ll try to get it together by next week.

I spoke with Mike Rowan today and he is going to be announcing a bunch of additional courses to be offered for free at the convention as well.

When our attendees get done with our convention... they will head home tired... but Supermen in the inspection industry.

If this is the case of adding more classes I think we need a day or two more or longer days to fit all classes in.
Let me know ASAP about the commercial inspection course so I have time to adjust my schedule to get in it!!! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

Hi. Will.

If you can not attend this like I can not attend, It would only be a pleasure for me to help in anyway that is available.
I am a Commercial Builder and still am for 35 years. I was a Resident Construction Engineering Technician for General Services Administration in 1985 and I believe It might be possible to help you in any questions you may have as long as it pertains to Construction in the Northeast.
I do have some respect for Jeff on the West Coast, ha. ha. .

We are waiting on Mike Rowan right now.

Until we hear from Mike, Lorne and I are at least doing an Intro to Commercial Inspections on Tuesday night inside the convention.

If you know Mike, email him and tell him to hurry up.

Pricing can be selected from one of several ways. I propose one of the following:

A. Price per square foot (as determined by gross square footage specified on construction documents or arrived at through measurements) x $0.10 psf with a $400 minimum.

B. Time & Material based on round trip travel time to the subject location from our offices on Capital of Texas Hwy, inspection time at the location, report generation time, binder material and report delivery costs. All time will be billed at $75/hr.

Costs of any additional, more comprehensive inspection work requested will be communicated to you and agreed upon in writing prior to any work being performed
.
