Consideration of the Code Change Proposals

Code change proposals have been available for review/comment since December 2, 2005. The deadline for making comment on the code change proposals is January 15, 2006 (the end of the 45 day comment period). For ease in downloading the proposed modifications, they were organized by the committees in a matrix format, compiled in folders, and placed on the web site. To download the folders, please see the web site at the following link:

VERY IMPORTANT

If you submitted a code change that referenced a standard, you need to send a copy of the proposed standard to staff and to each committee member that will be considering the proposed code modification. It is the responsibility of the proponent to make the reference standard available to the committee members. Not providing copies of the proposed reference standard to both staff and committee members could result in the proposal not being considered by the committee. Staff will not send copies of the proposed reference standards to the committee members. For sending a copy of the reference standard to staff, please mail or email the standard to Monica Ross at 2555 Shumard Oak Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2100. Her email address is monica.ross@dca.state.fl.us To send copies of the reference standards to committee members for the various committees please see their names, addresses, and email on the web site at the link below.
