I am looking for referrals for setting up my brochures… Anyone have any companies I should go to?

I definitely want a good product, but then again I don't want to pay $1 for each brochure I hand out...

Appreciate any help!
Happy Holiday!
Justin.

brochureplace.com has great prices, and will work with you to create a quality product. I recommend them.

I used MS Word and 24 lb paper from Staples. Works real good for me. Doing it this way you have total control. However, you do need to play with once you have your initial concept down. I think I spent about 12 hrs refining it. Give it a try, you never know.

I found that the Print Shop by Broderbund works really good with a good quality paper, not only for brochures but business cards as well.

If you decide to print your own, places like KINKO have folding machines that they only charge a penny or two for each one.

They'll fold 500 brochures REAL QUICK and a lot better than you can at home.

Ditto.
But, brochures have done me little good. I still have about 3500 left out of 5000 ordered a year and a half ago. Had one comment (from a realtor whose client hired me on his educated own-it was semi positive) from those 1500.
Could be poor design!!
I didn't have realtor receives $20.00 per referral in the brochure.

So post the design or send it to Russel.

I am sure you can get some very constructive criticism.

Not to get off the thread but it is illegal to offer kickbacks to realtors. A discount coupon to the end client is fine but offering money to a realtor for business is a kickback

Been here long?![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif)
You would think that after 920 posts a person would know that and be comfortable enough to use that in jest!
May be I forgot to use the appropriate graphics: ![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif)

Nobody follows up on billboard advertising directly,

it's just a gentle reminder of the advertisers' existence. Back in

1940s Lucky Strike was by far the #1 seller--stopped advertising,

figured they owned the market. They damn near disappeared.

Companies have since learned the value of 'keeping the name in

front of the market'
. The brochure or flyer is just another necessary

evil, we have to keep flooding our market with them. But it should be an

eye catcher, because its' life is so short.

Brochures are too expensive and time consuming to produce. There are other ways to keep your name in front of realtors without the large scale hassle of designing, printing the almost perfect brochure and paying travel and/or postage costs to keep 1 out of 100 from going into the trash.
It's not even worth the time to put my brochure online here. In fact I am anticipating winter so that I can use a case at a time to start the bonfires!
Goodbye old obsolescent brochures.....Hello business!

Approx. $300/1000 for brochures at Vistaprint.com.

Approx. 10/office as I go out and say my hellos.

995 out of the 1000 go into the trash.

I close 3 out the 5 remaining when they contact me.

My average inspection is $400.

$1200 return on a $300 investment and I've shook hands and kissed babies with some realtors who will remember me.
Seems like a reasonable expenditure to me!

Jeffy, sounds about right. Seems to be my average, too.
